Most are recently renovated, but renter beware...
Whomever supervised the renovation efforts around here should be fired (if they haven't been already). If you just look at the surface the place is great, but you really need to do a thorough job of checking everything out in your apartment. I found no less than 8 maintenance issues that needed to be addressed immediately. Maintenance is a bit lackluster unless the supervisor (Chris) is working. Sometimes it can take multiple times reporting one problem to get the proper maintenance done, their management office is famous for losing work orders. Oh - and bring a glass with you when you visit. Run a full glass full of water from the kitchen sink and see if YOUR water is rusty. Mine is so rusty that I can't even buy a Brita to filter my water, the rust would ruin the filter in a week! I have to buy botled water and bags of ice to keep from actually drinking the stuff which gets pricey! Unfortunately none of the neighbors that I've met and spoken with enjoy their home here and many plan to move. My issues have been resolved (for now!) and I see myself staying here quite a while. The neighborhood is great and you are on the bus route once you step out the front door.Share This Review
