Ivy Ridge Apartments

I have read the comments left by others and they are not unfair. I lived at Ivy Ridge, then got a job there while I was attending UW a few years ago. I don't know who the manager is now, but I can say that we were told by the Pinnacle property managers that deposits were "free money" and to get them any way we could. As an employee, I felt filthy about what we were told to do, the fees and prices we charged, etc. As a tenant, living there was OK, but LOUD. I lived in two different street-facing apartments and the fact that there are 2 frats and a sorority on the corners does not help the noise situation. Plus, other tenants were extremely loud, partying, screaming at people out the windows, blasting music, etc. I about lost my mind there! The grounds are nice, the apartments are nice (though cheaply built) but overall, I was excited to leave when it was time. And I certainly wouldn't work there again. If you are a current tenant, ask for receipts for everything they charge you for on your damage deposit- it's your right and they inflate prices of what they do. The woman I worked with (claimed she) was sleeping with the property manager at Pinnacle and I saw the two of them do some downright illegal stuff, so I wouldn't look for any help from Pinnacle. People were constantly breaking into the "secure" parking garage and stealing cars and vandalizing. My own car was broken into and the cameras didn't see a thing.
