For starters, I only lived in this apartment for two months of a six month lease. When I moved in the stove did not work and remained unusable for a full week. They finally came in and replaced the stove, but when removing the old stove they placed it in the middle of the living room, leaving a grease spot on the carpet. The building has several washers and dryers, but don't get too excicted, MANY of them did not work the entier time I lived there. I inquired about it and was told it would be a week before a repair man would be out to see what the problem was and then additional time to order parts, etc. The office staff is nice and friendly, but do check your move out bill and believe me, you will be getting a bill at move out. They sent me a bill for 85.00 to clean, 35.00 to shampoo the disgusting carpet, which was disgusting when I moved in and should have been replaced, 75.00 to paint (this fee was waived) and 65.00 for additional days on my lease, but this is due to their untimely return of my call to return my keys. I was going out of town and they didn't return my call until I had left. I disputed my bill and they waived the 85.00 to clean, which should not have been charged in the first place. I feel paying 35.00 to clean disgusting carpet and 65.00 for their untimely call back is unjust. I paid it to be done with it, which I'm sure is what most people do and what they hope for. I feel as though they try to rip off every tenant at move out. When I walked by the office I heard more than one former tenant in the office complaining about the move out bill. Be careful and take pictures!! I wish I had.
