Overlook At Magnolia Apartments

Well there is nothing special about this place. Make sure that you mark everything on your move-in checklist WITH the staff present. That was a mistake on my part as the copy that I turned in was NOT what was presented to me at move out. They will nickel and dime you on your move out cost. I spent hours cleaning and making sure that everything was perfect, but they still charged me a $50 cleaning fee. I did not have any pictures on the wall when I was there and they claimed that I spackled the walls and the whole place would need to be repainted. Then they said that there was extra wear and tear on the carpet and would need to be replaced. I put my foot down at that point and they backed off and wanted to compromise. Take your laundry off site as the laundry rooms are dirty, they do not up-keep the machines, and two machines for an entire building will have you waiting. Then the parking is a nightmare. Even if you have an assigned space that you pay for (way over priced) people will park in the space after hours and there is nothing that the office can do about it (or so they claim). I complained about this happening twice to me when I came home in the evening and they said that they do not have the authority to tow and not to call the after hours number for a parking issue. Street parking is never available so be prepared to park far away and walk. Check around and you can find other places that are cheaper, nicer, include parking, and have in-unit washer and dryer. I did and it is the best move that I ever made.
