Overlook At Magnolia Apartments

Been here for about a month and so far everything has been pretty good. I used to live in Japan where they built great flooring so you could never hear the person above you, so it was a bit hard adjusting to that here. Because it's pet friendly here, sometimes certain places smell a bit too much of urine and have noticed spots/smells on the carpeting. It would be nice if the owners cleaned up after them or let the office know. Barking hasn't been an issue surprisingly. Had to call maintenance out a few times and they were quite speedy on coming in and very friendly, especially Tom. The office staff are nice and was great about printing directions off and such since we didn't have internet connected at that time. Lenora has been a huge help whenever I talked with her. I made a couple calls regarding something we broke, due to lack of communication, it wasn't taken care of for awhile. Parking is a bit spendy, but I have too much to carry so I decided to get a parking spot. The parking on the road is narrow and difficult to get thus I wouldn't want to park there, but if you are willing to hike a bit you can find something. Laundry is pretty cheap and I've had to learn to put less in as it didn't always dry completely, and if something is still a bit damp I just end up handing it up in the room. One of the driers was broken and they came in and fixed it up pretty quick. [email protected] is on a huge hill, with beautiful houses surrounding. It's a bit far to get to places on foot, so would definitely need a car or bike. We are lucky because we have a tree right in front of our balcony which most don't have. We decided to go with this apartment because of they layout and space. Most other apartments would say they were around 700SF but compared to here, the other seemed a lot smaller. Overall pretty happy.
