Could be better
This is a decent building with thick walls, which is good for being near the city. It gets REALLY hot in these unit though and the windows don't fit window a/c units. The building creates a vacuum so it's hard to get any breeze from the windows so it's hard to find relief. I was on the 3rd floor and it was about 20 degrees hotter inside my unit in the summer than outside so be careful. I also agree with the other poster, they have a lot of absurd fees built into the rules. A couple nail holes in the wall gets about $200-300 out of your security deposit, also the rent is really high for not including any utilities or parking. The only real benefit here is the responsiveness of maintenance on quick repairs and a nice, clean, secure building. This is great for someone who is retired and lives alone because it sort of feels like assisted living at times. The management can be equally great and real sticklers at the same time. This is not a place for someone who likes to have dinner parties or musicians. Also the management is extremely hardcore about smoking laws so you can forget letting guests smoke on your balcony or outside on their property or you will receive a fine. All in all this place is good for single, retired people looking for a quiet place. Younger people might want to keep looking.Share This Review
