eh.
When we moved to Seattle we moved here because of the price and location; coming from out of state it seems like a great combo. You had washer and dryer in unit, a grocery down stairs, and a parking garage below that. To top itā¦Ā See More >sprucie

Really great!
I lived at Uwajimaya for just over a year, and in that time I was very impressed. The office staff and maintenance staff are really great and have always been helpful, fast, smart, and accommodating. The garden always looks beautiful and is such a charmingā¦Ā See More >leaseforever

Nice and Quite Place
I've been living here for the past 2 1/2 years, and I love it. This place is so cheap compare to the other places in downtown Seattle. Clean/quite and the management team is great.ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

After a month of living here...
I think it's fabulous! I needed a quiet place, and this is it. (Not all apartments here are as quiet as mine.) The appliances are top of the line, and I can cook without the smoke alarm going off! The location could not be anyā¦Ā See More >hstinson85

nice place
I've been here almost 2 years and have no major complaints. The rent is steep, but if you want to live downtown, you have to pay more for a clean, safe place with the features these apts have. I just hope the rentā¦Ā See More >Kels_Bels

I love it here!
My apartment is amazing. I've never seen such a large kitchen in a studio. The private courtyard is a place of peace and beauty in the middle of the city. The parking garage has the biggest spaces in Seattle, and since it'sā¦Ā See More >julie121968

Equity Residential won't replace water meter- just bills higher estimated $$
While I love my unit (great size, nice building, great location) I will be leaving at the end of my lease. The on site management is great, but corporate Equity Residential would rather cut corners than keep up equipment. I have fought for theā¦Ā See More >aslkdjfl

Nice Apartment, watch out for the Management
I lived there a few years ago, so things may have changed. I liked the place a lot. It's in the middle of Chinatown, easy walking or bus to everywhere. Bus tunnel just across the street. You can rent as manyā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Livable; unreasonable utility fees
Pets are allowed. I considered it pet-friendly when I moved in but don't now. Last time I went to the office with a question, the Saturday employee told me to keep my dog away from her. Twice I have found intruders on the propertyā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Good and bad
The good: 1. Professional staff. Excellent, responsive maintenance. Very good concierge service. 2. Very well kept up building. The common areas were cleaned every day. 3. Very good grocery store on ground floor ( but expensive ). 4. Central location, easy access to all Metro routes, Amtrak. Easy busā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Must be living at a different place
I'm absolutely astounded at the negative reviews for Uwajimaya that I've seen on this site. I live at UVA and I love it! I don't know if only people who are dissastisfied are writing or what, so that's why I'm adding my voiceā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Overpriced and inconsiderate management
Before the management change, I would recommend this place, but now I won't. The units are pricey. Expect the rent and parking to go up after your lease. The management is inconsiderate and see the tenants by the rent they are willing to pay.ā¦Ā See More >anonymous
