Decent building, decent price, extremely unprofessional management.

It was not the right place for me, so I decided to break my lease. I followed all WA state laws and everything in my lease related to lease breaking. I was treated extremely unprofessionally. It was not a personal decision against the building manager, but that was how it was handled. I made it perfectly clear (in writing) that I would pay damages in the amount of my broken lease until a renter was found (in accordance with WA state law). I was sent a letter with a move out statement that was annotated with "not present for moveout," although I was never given the opportunity to review the statement or sign (in fact, I was not even aware that I was supposed to sign anything, even though I wrote a letter and called several times to determine what exactly I needed to do). I disputed some of the charges, but sent a check with a portion of the balance (WELL before the date it was due). I received a letter threatening to send me to collections. After I contacted the office again, it was decided that I was right and that all of the charges were not accurate. It has just been a big hassle and not worth my time and I do not appreciate being bullied when I have been completely cooperative. Everything I experienced just cemented my decision to leave.

P.S. Also, the neighbors are crazy (not in a good way).
