This place is a nightmare. I lived here for a year and quickly moved out once my lease ended. The apartments are old, outdated, and dark. Appliances are straight from the 90s. Management is unprofessional and unintelligent. In the time I lived there, the entire management staff changed at least once and they LOST most of my move-in documents. Every time I asked questions about my lease or policies, I always got the same answer they just started working there and they ll have to get back to me. But they never would unless I followed up multiple times.
Once I did finally move out it took over 6 weeks to get my deposit check (my lease clearly states it would take no longer than 2 weeks). They had to ask multiple times for my forwarding address even though I wrote it clearly on THEIR OWN move-out documents! I had to contact the corporate office in order to circumvent the incompetence of the staff at West Ridge to finally get my deposit back.
Be forewarned: If you decide to live here, make sure you thoroughly read and keep copies of all your move-in documents and cover all your bases before you sign anything. The employees change so often that no one knows what s going on and communication gets completely lost month to month.
I would absolutely NOT recommend living here. It has been nothing but a headache anytime I had to talk to the landlords or staff. The apartments are noisy with families of unruly children. Maintenance guys are creepy. The deposits are outrageous - $1,000 pet deposit, seriously?! The garbage areas in the parking lot are filthy and trash often blows into the parking lots. The demographic that lives here is mostly low-income families and there has been cops called into my parking lot at least four times in the short time I lived there.
