I can finally feel good about writing a review after four years of living here. I was lucky enough to move into a remodeled kitchen, so although the appliances were older, yes, the countertops made up for it by greatly improving the look of the apartment. They ARE older so the overall design of the apartments and flor plans are outdated, but I still didn't pay in rent what I would have been paying to live closer to the Junction or on Admiral. The big plus for me was the bus stop right across the street. The pool and jacuzzi weren't bad, and the deck area is actually pretty nice on the rare days warm enough to lay out in the summer. YES, the area it is in is slightly sketch, at best, and at worst of times downright scary, but inside the complex itself is not bad at all. There was an outbreak of prowlers in the area, mostly kids, but the apartment stepped up by adding security and as far as I could tell that squashed the problem. Due to my own ineptness, and also from fear of reading of the post move-out gougings from other ratings sites, I called and lit into one of the office girls when I received my final statement. Turns out I read it wrong, and instead of owing a ton, I was actually getting back a little bit. She handled me being unpleasant very professionally, so I did feel bad since it was a misunderstanding on my part. Things I found truly bad about the apartments were mostly beyond the front office's control. The biggest thing was water pressure and for a while it seemed lil we were getting the water shut off every other week. I think that's moly the age of the place though. My electric bills DID shoot up this year when compared to years past, especially in the winter, but were still manageable. Bottom line is that I would recommend this place to anyone looking to live close enough to downtown to catch a short bus ride, for a fifteen to twenty dollar cab ride. Plus you're extremely close to the Junction, and the little "downtown" area of White Center that you are near actually has some pretty legit bars and a pretty good restaurant. Don't believe what you hear about the terrible move out settlements. Just don't completely thrash your place, and you'll be good to go.

So you moved into one of upgraded condo townhomes? That's exciting! I personally love the hardwood floors. Yes, some of the appliances are older, but we generally do not replace them unless they are no longer functioning properly. Of course, we still want you to love the look and feel of your home, so I will certainly pass along your comments about the older appliances. Thank you!
