Parking - There is one assigned spot, but no guarantee it will be next to (or close to) the building you live in.
Noise - I can hear every step my upstairs neighbors make, when they flush, when they wash clothes. I can hear people using foul language outside. I can hear people running up and down the halls (even on the ground floor).
Grounds - Are very blah. The buildings were recently painted, and it was a great improvement, but none of the carports were painted and it looks very tacky.
Safety - There is a lot of police activity. Buildings and hallways are lit, but parking lot lighting is marginal, and with assigned parking away from building, there is increased exposure to the elements (both weather and criminal).
Construction - I was told by a professional contractor who was doing some repair work there that the quality of the construction of the building was very poor.
Maintenance - The one time I made a specific request, it took too long to get a response, and the workmanship was poor. Once, maintenance entered my apartment in error, and left a note that they had repaired an appliance that wasn't broken, and I had not requested a repair. It turned out the repair was for the same unit number in an entirely different apartment complex. Another time they attempted to enter my apartment when the work order was clearly for a different unit. They left work order taped to my door, complaining that the key didn't work. (Duh! Try the right door next time.)
Office Staff - In the last year there have been at least 7 different managers or assistant managers. Two of them weren't bad. Some were VERY bad. One even entered my unit illegally. (That one is gone now.)
Overall - I would not recommend this to anyone. Also, I will NEVER again rent from someplace that offers free rent in exchange for a specific lease length. I guess I forgot, you never get something for nothing, AND if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
