Resident ā€¢ 2016 - 2017

I have lived here for about a year and I will not be renewing my lease. The location is amazing, you're in the middle of everything and an easy commute into Portland (except for the weekends, the traffic gets very backed up and it takes over 40 min), I loved the park and the waterfront, obviously having a good location comes with noise and parking situations and inappropriate people around the apartment. This is all true but I tried to overlook it since I love living in cities. (except one time a homeless man knocked on our door asking for money)... The place is pretty pricey for Vancouver and outdated and very small but the worst part about living here and why I'm giving a bad rating is because I have never in my life had to deal with worse customer service. I am not one to talk badly or leave reviews but I am no longer living there and am still having to deal with the world's worst leasing people you will ever have to deal with. There is only one person who is able to assist you, she is rarely there and when she is she will have an attitude problem and complain to you about other people who live there (not kidding, she complained about me to my roommate). When she is not there, there are other people who might answer your call the 5th day you try to contact someone but they will always direct you to her because they don't know how to assist you in any way and frankly is a little concerning that they are working there in the first place. They tell you to email her or leave a voicemail and after you do all of that you still get no response. I am telling you this while I am on the 6th day of trying to contact her. I understand that customer service may not be as important to some people because I was one of those people when I signed my lease to live here (even after I hadn't heard great things about this place) but dealing with these people has caused so much anxiety and stress and made an entire year of living at this decent apartment horrible. Even after dealing with their mold on all the windows and in the bathroom, after a homeless man got into the building and harassed people, after lying about their garage parking prices (they told me it would $65 when I signed and it's actually $84 a month fyi), after witnessing homeless people pee outside of your apartment multiple times a week, after not being able to sleep because of all the noise from the street lights and concerts and after having to deal with the air conditioning never working when it was 90+ degrees..... I still would have attempted to live here because no place is perfect but there are no words to describe how awful the customer service is.
