Riverside 9 Apartments
Resident · 2015 - 2016
Riverside 9 is a new apartment development on the Wenatchee River in downtown Wenatchee, WA. The development is positioned by Weidner (parent company) as an upscale choice and all finishes and grounds reflect the managers' strong attention to detail. There is a pool, a BBQ area and a well appointed but small gym on the property. The only area that is not well maintained is the community garbage and recycling drop-off, which is frequently full and littered with larger items from tenants moving out. Riverside 9 rents are priced 15-20% higher than comparable rental properties in Wenatchee, There is a $100 "administration fee" when a renter signs a lease and Weidner has developed a well earned reputation for raising already high rents at the conclusion of your "flexible lease." If you are only prepared your first lease's rent and no more, you should be prepared to leave after your first lease expires. Riverside 9 is located on the water and near the Toyota Center so parking is a constant issue. The management team recently sent out an email suggesting a program where renters pay a premium for an uncovered, outside parking space. Current parking regulations are not enforced so tenants and other visitors to the river can park in the few open spaces without repercussions. Noise is not an issue and all fixtures in the apartments are of high quality. All in all, a nice place to live save for parking and high rents that may only get higher for you over time.
