Lake Terrace Apartments
Resident · 2011
This review is after a week in Lake Terrace; I plan to update after some time has passed. The moving in process was great; I found the unit extremely clean. The paint had been touched up whwere needed, the carpeting fully shampooed, and everything was spotless. It was hard to tell anyone had ever lived there before me. Randy and Jami, the managers, personally do much of the cleaning and maintenence. They are both very friendly and have never failed to answer the phone or return my message in a very short time. The people at Dittmer Realty, who own the units, have also been very cordial. The unit has its own stacked washer and dryer, private entrance, and garage with direct entry into the unit. It is much closer to a condo than an apartment. The heat and water heater are both gas powered, much cheaper to operate than electric. My patio doors lead out to a semi-private area with access to a lake; very pretty view. So far I have not heard one sound from the neighbors (I am on the first floor); not a voice, footstep, or door closing. building appears to be very sturdily constructed. The location is right om Hwy 60, less than a half mile from Hwy 45, making Milwaukee only about 15-20 minutes away. West Bend is 5 minutes north, with instant access to Home Depot, Menards, Marshall's, Wal-Mart, Boston Store, and many other shopping locations. Although there are no frills, such as pool, clubhouse, or tennis courts; it is by far the best complex I found for the price from the standpoint of a nice clean home. you can find fancier places with more ammenities, but not at this price. As I said, I will hopefully update in a few months, either good or bad. But so far, I'm very happy with my choice.
