There is dog waste on the walking paths around the apartment on a fairly consistent basis. Rental prices went up this year (2018) and are no longer accurate on this site. There are frequent petty thefts in the area on a monthly basis, but it feels and looks safe during the daytime. The countertops and appliances are in poorer condition than nearby competitors, and my place had floor damage in the kitchen (wavy floor due to subfloor damage) that feels dangerous when carrying hot dishes or heavy pots of water between the sink and stovetop. They said it would be fixed but failed to do so. It is dog-friendly, but as a consequence, you can still see the dog scratches through the rushed paint-job from the previous owner. Lastly, there is a lot of traffic at the light on Sprecher/CHT when you exit the neighborhood heading Northbound, adding about 8 minutes to my commute due to sitting in line in a single lane each morning between 7 and 8 AM, and ~10 minutes upon returning form work (there is no left hand signal turning from CHT to Sprecher so a long line forms between 4:40-5:40). Disappointed overall, especially since they are raising rent this year.
