I lived at Shenandoah for almost 5 years and it was a great place to live. The apartments are well-maintained and updated- mine had a newly updated kitchen when I moved in. Apartment staff and owners were always helpful, friendly, and promptly responded to any questions or concerns. They have a maintenance guy on staff so any problems were taken care of quickly, usually on the same day I contacted them. As a student, I appreciated how close it is by bike or by bus to campus. Another plus is that both a post office and a grocery store are nearby. Additionally, having an off street parking spot included with the price of rent and a place in the basement for bike storage was also a bonus. As others mentioned, you can occasionally hear noise from your neighbors, but it was overall minimal and everyone was respectful of the quiet hours that are set up. When moved out, after purchasing my first home they were helpful about showing the apartment and helping to find a person to sublet! All in all, if you are looking for a reasonably priced apartment that is well-maintained with a great staff this a place you should definitely check out!
