Summit Hill Apartments

Great place to call home. My significant other and I moved from the East side of Madison to the West side in order to shorten our commute times. My significant other found Glacier Hills and recommended we both take a look at the complex when we had some time. The complex was well taken care of and the staff was very welcoming. We moved around August and lived there for 2 years. In that time all maintenance orders were taken care of quickly, all packages were delivered on time and made it to us safely, (the office even offered to put one of our packages in our apartment because we would both be out of town for a while), and overall we had a great experience. The apartment we had was a one bedroom one bath and even though the square footage seemed a little small having the open loft style apartment made it feel a lot bigger than what it was. The location was great for us, it was close to the campus where I worked and it was close to the highway so my significant other could get to work. It was near major shopping areas and everything else that we needed was in close proximity. I enjoyed the complex because of the location it was far enough away from campus so that we weren't constantly being bothered by loud students, yet close enough that we could get to the farmers' market on weekend. One of the major pluses for us was how great the management was, all of our needs were taken care of in a timely manner and the groundskeepers were always very friendly. Our dog was always treated like one of their own pets, and they always had a treat for him when we went out for walks. Management was very courteous to us and listened to our suggestions and needs, recently the parking lot was updated and the parking space lines were re-evaluated and painted. All in all it's in a quiet neighborhood, we never felt unsafe walking around or taking the dogs out for a walk. As young professionals having a place where we could entertain friends and also enjoy our peace and quiet was high on our list and Glacier Hills delivered. We moved to California recently for different job opportunities, but we will definitely miss Glacier Hills and the management team there.
