Noisy, old, not clean. Located in a sketch neighborhood. I've witnessed a few fights outside and across the street. I enjoyed being close to Elver park and had plenty of space to walk my dog or go for runs but I felt uncomfortable roaming after dusk. Elver park also and be a noisy place to live next to. I've feld unsafe a few nights from drunks yelling from their balcony of the building I lived in until the cops came. Not to mention some of the same sketch figures lingered around my building until someone would let them in. With that said, my neighbors were always friendly and polite. I lived by myself in a loft and I loved my apartment, it was a really good size for just me, paid more than I would have liked (ultimately why I moved). Maintenance always fixed problems to my liking, were honest and respectful of my belongings. The desk staff really does their best, they were always kind and helpful while answering all of my questions. I found them accommodating but sometimes difficult to get a hold of (they're not always open during their office hours, which differ from the sign outside to what is posted online). Some neighbors didn't pick up after their dogs, which became a mountain of disgusting after a few weeks of landscaping neglecting the problem. Oh and the other biggest reason why I moved was the laundry situation. There wasn't an in unit, it cost money to use, it was a shared laundry machine with the floor. This was fine unless someone else was using it or until the machine wasn't working, then I would have to go up or down a floor just to do laundry (which was just really awkward). Then the dryer halfway through the year just made a painful high pitched squeak. I found it better to go to a laundromat to just get it over with at once since I had to pay for laundry anyway.
