It would be nice to have specifics here to comment about. I will do my best. We do hand out fines to tenants that leave their children play in the parking lot. It is unsafe for children and can cause damage to cars. We do our best to keep Village green a safe place. Some parents don't get this. Thus the fines. We will not change this policy. Period. As for ghetto, I have no idea. Two faced? We are very direct and clear in our rules to keep Village Green a safe and friendly place to live.

We were sorry to have this tenant leave. Very good tenant. Air conditioners can be expensive to run. We do not repair a/c units, just replace. We do offer a larger size two bedroom.

Really? A bad review because we withheld $26.00 dollars from their security deposit for a stain on the carpet? It is unfortunate that this tenant is upset about the $26.00. Tenant failed to give proper notice to vacate, however we went out of our way to show the apartment so that the tenant would not have to make double payments as the tenant had purchased a home. The tenant was given back their full security deposit less the $26.00. In addition an extra week of rent was refunded but not required by law. We did this as a goodwill gesture for the tenants. I will answer each item in order: 1. Tenant was in a “rush” to move in and “had” to have the apartment “as soon as possible”. Regular maintenance and preparation of the apartment was not complete when tenant moved in. Tenant was okay with this. 2. Garbage disposal had been removed from the unit. Some apartments do not come with disposals. 3 .All fire extinguishers are certified by ACM. Each one has a paper trail. I think the tenant misread the tag. Expiration is one year from the date listed on the tag, so tenant may have seen the date and thought it was past due. 4. The storage unit situation was an unfortunate misunderstanding. No items were lost or stolen. The tenant put items in the wrong unit. A new tenant was moving in and that was his locker so we were making sure it was available. Issue was resolved in a day or two. 5. I took this call and was clearly kidding when the comment was made regarding the heat. I was there until 7:30 that night explaining everything as I went along. The room temperature was close to 65 degrees, not 50. I resolved the issue that night and replaced the valve the next day, which was in the basement and didn’t require entry to the apartment. The tenant knew about the valve because I explained everything I did. 6. The muddy footprint is a small ($26.00) issue. The tenant or a family member of the tenant was present at all showings and would have seen if the stain was made by anyone other than the tenants. Village Green Apartments and Townhomes are currently at full capacity. We have many happy and satisfied tenants.
