Parquelynn Village is located on beautiful property close to lakes and a dog park. I enjoy having a yard and not facing a parking lot, as most apartment complexes do so. In my experience residents are friendly helpful and caring.

All and all ot is a great place to live.My only issue is the garage shortage and the fact that some units are allowed two garages and they still take up two more parking spaces. There is not a list for garages so new people get them before people who have been there for years.

Everything about living here is wonderful. It's not too loud, you're close to three different towns to go to for activities. There's only two things that keep it from perfect. 1: The water is gross and you probably want a water softener. 2: The parking lots are small and visitors take the spots of residents.

I've been so happy ever since I've moved in. The rooms are large. The office is on-site and the managers are extremely helpful. If a problem arises in the apartment, it is quickly resolved. The upkeep of the property is very good and is continuously being improved. (New Playground , lighting at end of driveway). And for me , the added bonus is that the complex is easily accessible to a county park right next door.

Water quality is absolutely terrible! I've asked to have it fixed and it's still like it was. Neighbors are loud. Rent is ridiculous. Light switches don't even work in the bedrooms to control the ceiling light! Carpet hasn't been replaced in years! Windows are drafty.

Pros: spacious apartments, pet friendly, pool Cons: Some neighbors aren't very friendly to POC and instead treat you like you shouldn't be there. They'll run into their house or cars when they see you, watch your every move when you're outside, try to find the smallest thing they can to complain about you.

The property is well maintained, the property manager Lindsay King is absolutely awesome to work with. The maintenance staff are helpful and do a great job. The community goes over and above with gatherings, giving updates on activities going on nearby, even giving out a gift to every resident at Christmas. Such a great community to live in because of the people managing this complex.

I love everything about it ! Friendly , maintenance is on top of things so is the cleaning crew. If I did endure any problems , they made sure to address it and fix it as much as possible in a timely manner. I also appreciate the different events that are held to be able to mingle with our neighbors

The community overall is nice. People are respectful and it is a quiet area. I feel as though it is very safe here. The only issue I have ever had is people driving too fast. There are a lot of kids around to the fast cars scare me.

I am going into my 11th year here and my biggest concern as a senior citizen is being able to afford to stay here if the rent keeps going up. The garage price went from $60 to $75 which is crazy to me. I moved in with my own washer and dryer and now if something goes wrong and I need new ones, I have to get them from maintenance and pay an extra monthly fee for them. There is an additional fee if I would like a water softener! The water is so hard and every time I turn on a faucet, especially the bathtub, rust comes out. My whites or lights are dingy because of this. I am cautious of asking for any repairs because I am concerned that I would be charged for it. My refrigerator crisper drawers have be broken since I moved in and was told that new ones are very expensive so I make them work. The maintenance man mentioned that since I am in an older unit that the carpet may be ready for replacement along with the ceiling fan fixture. I don't want this change because the rent will go up. Again, I am a senior citizen that has to work a part time job to pay the rent.

It's comfortable quiet and safe but many things are starting to get dated inside the apartments. Maintenance and the office staff are very helpful and are amazing at what they do and how friendly they are

Outside of rent going up every year since 1990 I have no complaints. I have looked at various apartments in the area and none compare to the layout of these apartments. The buildings are not on top of one another. It's a private park like setting.

The apartments are well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We love the outdoor space and the pool. We were home owners for 44 years and we now love living in our apartment, not having to worry about repairs or maintenance. Our unit is on the first floor (no stairs). We enjoy sitting on our patio during the summer. The kitchen is smaller than our kitchen was in our house but we are accustomed to it and it works for us. This is a great place to live.

It's ok but they don't like to replace things like toilets. Mine is terrible and needs to be replaced I have been here 20 years or more but they won't replace anything until you move out. It needs to be replaced now. Sucks for me.

By far the best, and such a family community
I have met people who can help out, and create friendships, no matter if you are a single person, couple, friends, or a family there are so many options for both adult, children, and family activities that keep things so much fun year round. Lindsay and Kelly in the front office are the most understanding ladies, and are so great at communicating effectively and get back in a fast, timely manner. Jason, Tommy, and the rest of the crew who care for the amenities, apartments, and making sure things are always taking care of do such an amazing job. There is no other place I'd rather get to call "home"!

Awful place to live!Awful management
I want to start off with how rude the manager is Shes so loud and forceful when she talkskind of like she has a power trip and the assistant seems to be completely out of it and smells like ------------------- Why dont they have a better people working in the office Get some well educated people Maintenance is OK I live by the shop and they seem to be in there smoking all the time Smells bad when I go on my walks Maintenance tends to drive on the grass with their cars but we cant The cleaning of my halls is awful and dude always talks about the end of the world and conspiracies I moved here and Im moving out soon Ill continue to ask people to do honest posts on here Owner needs to make changes and change people out Its becoming a pile of dump here again in a different way

I used to appreciate the management. In recent years the new management has priorities wrong. Handling inconsequential complaints from residents versus keeping the community safe and free from criminals should be easy to categorize. Instead there's been focus on the inconsequential little things. A fire in recent days and a series of swatting calls over 3 years - both as criminal investigations by the police - should have been handled by the property manager with a sense of urgency to keep residents safe. Instead, everything had been covered up and residents have been lied to. Terrible communication from management to the residents in both situations. I, for one, am going to look for a new home.

We love living here! The staff are friendly and kind! The location is perfect With the park so close. It's fairly quiet, and we love the amenities. The events the staff put on are also fun! And the Fiona Pines communication every week so we know what's going on in town.

Moved in November 2016. The first several years were ok, but not the best management. We started looking at other places. Management changed a few years ago, and now its just a great place to live. Every thing is kept up very nice. Always making improvements. Management and maintenance is great. Only downfall is electric heat. But overall a very good place to live.

The apartments are terrific, nice community , great for pets! Management needs to be more approachable, and listen to all renters not just the ones they know. This last year here has been difficult for me. No help from management.

Parquelynn Village is a mostly friendly place and usually quiet too. In the recent past there has been a bit of an increase in hostile attitudes between neighbors. I haven't experienced it myself directly but have witnessed it and have been told about it from many others too. Particularly with the anti-pet people being nasty toward those who have pets, doing obnoxious things to agitate dogs, and making false complaints. That is all very unfortunate, and I do hope the office staff are smart enough not to fan the flames of these hostilities.

I wish I had ask them to replace carpeting before moving in. Other than that it has been a good experience. My apartment is cozy and they keep the grounds looking good. Maintenance foxes issues in a timely manner.
