ive lived here a lbout 1 year now..
the train does not bother me.. i actually love it..
but what does bother me is the LOUD rude tenants from the front of the apt., building we live in.. all hours of the night and early mornings.. the loud music.. littered driveways after their done partying.. hell they may like to dance with the car stereo loud.. in the middle of the parking lot.. at 3-4-5 am!!Then you have th skateboarders at 2-3 am doing their thing in the parkinglot and not caring that others have to sleep for work and maybe other tenants are just sick and not feeling well..
a parking lot full and i mean so full of partying guests they park here in the back ON THE GRASS!! yes they make their own parking space!!..
then of course you have the mouthy drunk or high guests who like to talk filth and well theydont care...
also to fill the fire lane with so many vehicles a firetruck couldnt get out on another call one night..so they took the NO PARKING sign down..
also the rent is ridiculous as long as we have to tolerate all this b/s.. to tell the landlords..and i love them..they do a great job and very sweet..their the BEST... they try their damdest to get things taken are of.. i feel the grounds is very well kept up and you always see the landlord...man.. outside working .. and the place isnt that bad..
the main issue here?? the rent going up 10.00 for their new upkeep.. well...does it make sense to water the grounds when it just rained all night and part of the mornings?? and does it make sense to hire a grounds keeper to mow and trim when the mower blades are not even and one row of lawn is low to the ground and the other is 4-5-6 inches high?? doesnt it make sense to hire someone whose going to NOT take advantage of the apartments to make more money and also do the job right?? also when mowing to mow in afternoon or late morn when the grass isnt wet?? i mean this keeps the grass from being so tall in spots and short in others
and when trimming and mowing they throw all the grass on the sidewalks and our doorsteps and leave it for us to deal with
also pet fees... 250.00 when we was told no pet fee when first moving in
and of course think about this... alot of tenants move out during the night due to owing past rent or rent they cant pay.. alot of us have our rent EVERY MONTH and reliable.. but..i want to say..1 day late..even if your on disability and cant help if your checks are 1 dday late... 50.00 extra...YEP., 50.00 extra for 1 day of being past the 1st..
the lease may state rent due by the first but.. the community news you get in the mailroom...and its dated july-aug of 2007..states if your past the 6th... of every month its late
and they will NOT work with a person over this..
id like to add as well..some are allllowed to park work trailers in the parking lots..while others are told NO..the garbage dumpsters have been used for a persons work unload.. broken rocks... pallets etc..and even ducks someone has killed and took the breast our of and dumped ...and also dead deer carcasses.. YES ya heard me right... now im not sure were all paying the same prices for the rent either..id like to hear from people who pay less than 625.oo a month for a upstairs apartment..
the managers try and work things out with ya but the owners or premier does NOT!!
also id like to know why some can have pets and others cant... i guess this is a new rule they MAKE UP AS THEY GO>. hmm very interesting..
i do love it here but im sick of trying to be helpful..a great neighbor and still not getting any understanding about a late fee and 50.00 extra every month..then to say theyll file when you dont have the amount of late fees they want.. i love it here but if wed of known now the way it truelly is..then we would never have signed another year lease.. i think owners need to get involved and see whats really happening here and try to be a little more helpful instead of a scrooge to us who cant afford to move yet and cant afford the dam late fees ... and be grateful their rent is always paid by the 6th of every month..
