My wife and I lived here raising little children for the past 4.5 years and were very blessed with how affordable it is given the accommodations and convenient location to the highway and shopping. Other amenities included a pool, small gym and a rent-able clubhouse. Open floor-plan is great (over 1,300 sq ft.) with two underground parking spots (for our 2BR unit) as well as laundry in each unit. The closets are also great and spacious (one walk-in). We also were able to upgrade to 2BR plus a Den (essentially a 3 BR - also has a closet) when we needed more space for our newest addition to the family. The room sizes are also very generous. The mix of old and young was nice and we never received a complaint about our family making too much noise (nor did we hear any of our neighbors through the walls). The grounds are top-notch. The scenery and peacefulness of the surroundings (especially in the units away from the street) make you feel like you don't even live in the city. The staff is also friendly and responsible. Having woods nearby was great with all the different animals we saw through the patio doors (including dear, owl, chipmunks and squirrels). There's even a little creek you can explore. However there is a trade-off to living near nice trees and wildlife, at times we did find a few unwanted creatures in the unit. This place offers one of THE BEST values in the city. The energy bill is on the higher side since the unit is larger and we had vaulted ceilings the last year. With my wife and children home all day our bill averaged $185/month the past few years. Modest rent increases were made, but they very reasonable. We started at $995/month back in 2010 and this next year would have been $1,060. All in all, this was a great place to start our family and we really enjoyed living here.
