It's alright, might recommend

The one bedroom apartments themselves are pretty nice, but a bit small. Too small for two people, definitely. There is no linen closet (annoying), but there is a decent sized walk-in closet in the bedroom and storage above W/D. Balcony is nice but not really usable since it's a bit small and usually overlooks a road. Storage is alright, but not enough if you have lots of stuff. The intake vent sometimes smells like whatever our neighbors are cooking, and the cable jack and fuse box are poorly located. Big windows are nice. Washer/dryer are nice, although dryer only has one "insanely hot" setting. Our bathtub faucet was put in backwards, so hot is where cold is supposed to be. Our neighbors above us like to drag large heavy things on the small amounts of laminate floor and constantly rumble our ceiling. I don't know what they do up there, but it has subsided. Sometimes neighbors below in back like to bang on doors and yell and argue at 4:30AM. Delivery places will not know where Grants Drive is. Even if you say Liberty St. they will not find it. Average electric bill is $35 summer and $50 winter.

Have had a few problems with office staff "losing" my rent checks that were handed in on time...on more than one occasion. Otherwise usually helpful.

Maintenance is okay. We only needed help twice, and both times we were responded to quickly. The security alarm is a nice feature, but as stated in the other review, we have no idea how to use it. The manual you get with it is not helpful. We set it off once in the middle of the night, and had to call maintenance and then office staff but they couldn't do anything since they don't know anything about it (putting a pillow over it stifles the sound nicely). At least someone answered the phone. Turns out the alarm shuts off by itself after about 10 minutes. We only attempted to use it once. No more.

We haven't left yet, but we have heard they will nickel and dime you for repairs, even normal wear and tear. The paint is really crappy quality (though a nice color scheme), it stains and chips very easily, and when you try to wipe it down with a damp cloth it will wear down to the drywall. Stove is nice but annoying to clean.

The parking lot sucks, it is too small. But it is okay after some getting used to. Best to master backing in. During the day its not bad, sometimes at night there are very few spaces, but we've never had a big problem. Drivers who are bad at parking really get on your nerves, as the spaces are small. People tend to speed through the parking lot at 30 mph when coming up from the road.

If you do move in, check your mailbox to make sure they update the names inside. All of our mail got returned to sender for a few weeks before they changed it.

Overall I'd rate this a big "OKAY." Would recommend for one person with a small car and no pets.
