Worst apartment ever! When you walk in to the building, it has strong stinky and stuffy smells. The circulation is bad! I would never stay there again.

My bf and I have been living here since Sept. I have to say we love it and Steve our land lord is great! While they were cleaning for us to move in he took off rent for everyday we couldn't move in it ended up being like $200 off! Not many places would do that! The place was very clean and Steve will do anything he can to help and is very quick! We live in the 3rd floor it is a nice quiet place my bf works night shits sleeps durning the day and never has complained about noise just outside noise a lot of times sirens traffic and trash trucks! The rent is fairly cheap for location and area with everthjng included except electric our electric bill is about $15 a month because everthjng is gas and they pay it!

the walls are paper thin. apartment parking is a nightmare. when i moved in, there was a piece of fecal matter in toilet tank. The smell was awful. The landlord refused to do anything about it. He claimed that it was solely my problem. He threatened to evict me after I made so many complaints about the smell of the apartment. I would never want anyone to stay at this apartment complex. I would never even want my enemy to stay there.

Awful landlord, smells horrible, terrible neighbors

Streets Apartments are very inexpensive, but (like others have stated) you get what you pay for. The carpet smells terrible, even after cleaning. Apartments are in poor shape. The landlord promised to replace our floor and did not. People are allowed to smoke in the building and the cigarette smoke comes through the vents and makes the apartment smell awful (we don't smoke!). --- (the landlord) ----------------------- that live in the buildings and they have --------------. The children are horribly loud and obnoxious and run around uncontrolled. One child runs up and down the hallway (we live below them) all day and well into the night (begins about 7am and stops around midnight or 1 am!!! Seriously!!!) Of course, this noise situation is not rectified because they are -------------- landlord. --- is an awful, mean-spirited person. She had my car towed when they were paving the parking lot without even calling me asking me to move my car!!! When I went to her office to talk about it, she screamed at me like a psycho. She said that my phone probably didn't work and that is why she didn't try to call me.… See More>

            I Love my apartments

I don't know why there are complaints at Street's apartments. I moved in 2007 my apartment was very clean. Yes Pam doesn't allow pets in the apartments and parking is tight at times, but you know that from the first. I love my apartment and it is close to my work. It is a great location also. If things need worked on they come and fit them ASAP.

Great Value and Nice Place to Live

I have lived here for the past two years and I just love it. When something goes wrong they are quick to fix it and if I have a problem with one of the other tenents the manager...Pam, always helps to resolve the problems. The rooms are quite large for the price you pay. Parking gets a little crowded at times but where isn't parking bad in Morgantown. When my girlfriend and I moved in they had just replaced the carpet and they had told us if we wanted to paint or paper the kitchen that we could. Actually we bought the paper we wanted and the manager Pam and her friend put it up for us themselves. What more could you ask for. I have stayed at other appartments in Morgantown in the past but have never found the value that I have here. Location here is great, you can walk just about anywhere or it's a short walk to the PRT. When my parents come in for the football games they stay in our spare room so they don't have to worry about finding a hotel. It's not a big party place and I like that. It stay's… See More>

                NEVER RENT!!

Terrible apartments! Loud neighbors, very limited parking, outdated fixtures, and poorly maintained plumbing and heating. Carpets are filthy and smelly...Rent is cheaper than most, but you get what you pay for! You have to pay for laudry on site that is always in repair. Thin walls so I can hear my neighbors sneeze!

I currently live in the apartments and I really love them. The only problem i am currently having is with the landlord...very overbearing and rude. She is unwilling to listen and just not a very nice person. I really hate to move, but it is becoming unbearable. Also, management enter the apartments when residents leave to 'check' on things. They go through items and nose around whenever your not home. (Very weird) Overall the apartments are great though...a little pricy but the storage is great!

                    The Pros and Cons

                    The Pros

--very spacious. As you read in the other reviews, four closets, large rooms....not bad at all.

--when I was there (although over 6 years ago) there was an older gentleman who was the maintenance guy, and he was always there if we needed anything and very courteous. i honestly can't imagine that he is still there now.

--very good location

CONS

--Parking is horrendous. My girlfriend and I had two cars and only one spot. We couldn't park on the side because the bank threatened to have them towed (don't bank at BB&T for other reasons too). Someone was parked in our spot for at least three days at one point and the woman in charge (I think Pam was her name) wouldn't have them towed and the tow company wouldn't do it without their persmisson. I was appalled at her reaction to the parking situation.

--My ex woke up one morning (after I had left for class) and there was a man in there putting up blinds. Now, she was 18 and at the time and to see a strange manIN HER BEDROOM was ridiculous.

--The washer and dryer in the building I was in was terrible.… See More>

Great place, if you have a rich daddy

I moved in to this place in 2001 and the rent was $420/month, which included all utilities except phone and electric. Rent went up quickly and steadily every single year I was there, probably due to skyrocketing natural gas prices, but geez. Rent jumps on average of $25/year are NOT fun, and that's why I moved. I hated to leave. Rent this year is $520 for one person and the landlady told me that it's going to jump by $60 next year. I wonder at what point people are going to stop paying silly prices for a place that doesn't even have a dishwasher or washer/dryer hookups.

As far as the apartments go, they're great. Ridiculous amounts of storage space; I was truly spoiled. There are 4 (yes FOUR) closets in the hall, 2 large closets in one bedroom, one closet in the other bedroom, a cabinet and medicine cabinet in the bathroom, tons of cabinets in the kitchen... and THEN you have a padlockable storage cubbyhole downstairs in the laundry room. Wowza. The windows are very large and lovely. Beautiful Berber carpets, nice paint on the walls, everything in great… See More>
